سورة التوبة، الآية ١٢٦Surah At-Tawbah, ayah 126 (9:126)
أَوَلَا يَرَوۡنَ أَنَّهُمۡ يُفۡتَنُونَ فِى كُلِّ عَامٍ مَّرَّةً أَوۡ مَرَّتَيۡنِ ثُمَّ لَا يَتُوبُونَ وَلَا هُمۡ يَذَّكَّرُونَ ١٢٦
The meaning in English
See they not that they are put in trial once or twice every year (with different kinds of calamities, disease, famine)? Yet, they turn not in repentance, nor do they learn a lesson (from it).

التفسير الميسر
أولا يرى المنافقون أن الله يبتليهم بالقحط والشدة، وبإظهار ما يبطنون من النفاق مرة أو مرتين في كل عام؟ ثم هم مع ذلك لا يتوبون مِن كفرهم ونفاقهم، ولا هم يتعظون ولا يتذكرون بما يعاينون من آيات الله
