سورة الأعراف، الآية ١٦٥Surah Al-A'raf, ayah 165 (7:165)
فَلَمَّا نَسُواْ مَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِۦٓ أَنجَيۡنَا ٱلَّذِينَ يَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلسُّوٓءِ وَأَخَذۡنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ بِعَذَابٍۭ بَـِٔيسٍۭ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفۡسُقُونَ ١٦٥
The meaning in English
So when they forgot the remindings that had been given to them, We rescued those who forbade evil, but We seized those who did wrong with a severe torment because they used to rebel against Allâh’s Command (disobey Allâh).

التفسير الميسر
فلما تركت الطائفة التي اعتدت في يوم السبت ما ذُكِّرت به، واستمرت على غيِّها واعتدائها فيه، ولم تستجب لما وَعَظَتْها به الطائفة الواعظة، أنجى الله الذين ينهون عن معصيته، وأخذ الذين اعتدَوْا في يوم السبت بعذاب أليم شديد؛ بسبب مخالفتهم أمر الله وخروجهم عن طاعته
