سورة الممتحنة، الآية ٩Surah Al-Mumtahanah, ayah 9 (60:9)
إِنَّمَا يَنۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ قَٰتَلُوكُمۡ فِى ٱلدِّينِ وَأَخۡرَجُوكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمۡ وَظَٰهَرُواْ عَلَىٰٓ إِخۡرَاجِكُمۡ أَن تَوَلَّوۡهُمۡ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُمۡ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ ٩
The meaning in English
It is only as regards those who fought against you on account of religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and helped to drive you out, that Allâh forbids you to befriend them. And whosoever will befriend them, then such are the Zâlimûn (wrong-doers - those who disobey Allâh).

إنما ينهاكم الله عن الذين قاتلوكم بسبب الدين وأخرجوكم من دياركم، وعاونوا الكفار على إخراجكم أن تولوهم بالنصرة والمودة، ومن يتخذهم أنصارًا على المؤمنين وأحبابًا، فأولئك هم الظالمون لأنفسهم، الخارجون عن حدود الله
