سورة الأنعام، الآية ١٠٧Surah Al-An'am, ayah 107 (6:107)
وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَآ أَشۡرَكُواْ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَٰكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَفِيظًا وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِوَكِيلٍ ١٠٧
The meaning in English
Had Allâh willed, they would not have taken others besides Him in worship. And We have not made you a watcher over them nor are you a Wakîl (disposer of affairs, guardian, trustee) over them.

التفسير الميسر
ولو شاء الله تعالى أن لا يشرك هؤلاء المشركون لما أشركوا، لكنه تعالى عليم بما سيكون من سوء اختيارهم واتباعهم أهواءهم المنحرفة. وما جعلناك -أيها الرسول- عليهم رقيبًا تحفظ عليهم أعمالهم، وما أنت بقَيِّمٍ عليهم تدبر مصالحهم
