سورة الحشر، الآية ٨Surah Al-Hashr, ayah 8 (59:8)
لِلۡفُقَرَآءِ ٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُخۡرِجُواْ مِن دِيَٰرِهِمۡ وَأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ يَبۡتَغُونَ فَضۡلًا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضۡوَٰنًا وَيَنصُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصَّٰدِقُونَ ٨
The meaning in English
(And there is also a share in this booty) for the poor emigrants, who were expelled from their homes and their property, seeking Bounties from Allâh and to please Him, and helping Allâh (i.e. helping His religion) and His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). Such are indeed the truthful (to what they say).

وكذلك يُعطى من المال الذي أفاءه الله على رسوله الفقراء المهاجرون، الذين اضطرهم كفار "مكة" إلى الخروج من ديارهم وأموالهم يطلبون من الله أن يتفضل عليهم بالرزق في الدنيا والرضوان في الآخرة، وينصرون دين الله ورسوله بالجهاد في سبيل الله، أولئك هم الصادقون الذين صدَّقوا قولهم بفعلهم
