سورة الحشر، الآية ٥Surah Al-Hashr, ayah 5 (59:5)
مَا قَطَعۡتُم مِّن لِّينَةٍ أَوۡ تَرَكۡتُمُوهَا قَآئِمَةً عَلَىٰٓ أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيُخۡزِىَ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ ٥
The meaning in English
What you (O Muslims) cut down of the palm-trees (of the enemy), or you left them standing on their stems, it was by Leave of Allâh, and in order that He might disgrace the Fâsiqûn (the rebellious, the disobedient to Allâh).

التفسير الميسر
ما قطعتم -أيها المؤمنون- من نخلة أو تركتموها قائمة على ساقها، من غير أن تتعرضوا لها، فبإذن الله وأمره؛ وليُذلَّ بذلك الخارجين عن طاعته المخالفين أمره ونهيه، حيث سلَّطكم على قطع نخيلهم وتحريقها
