سورة الحديد، الآية ١٤Surah Al-Hadid, ayah 14 (57:14)
يُنَادُونَهُمۡ أَلَمۡ نَكُن مَّعَكُمۡ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِنَّكُمۡ فَتَنتُمۡ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَتَرَبَّصۡتُمۡ وَٱرۡتَبۡتُمۡ وَغَرَّتۡكُمُ ٱلۡأَمَانِىُّ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ أَمۡرُ ٱللَّهِ وَغَرَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡغَرُورُ ١٤
The meaning in English
(The hypocrites) will call the believers: "Were we not with you?" The believers will reply: "Yes! But you led yourselves into temptations, you looked forward for our destruction; you doubted (in Faith) and you were deceived by false desires, till the Command of Allâh came to pass. And the chief deceiver (Satan) deceived you in respect of Allâh."

ينادي المنافقون المؤمنين قائلين: ألم نكن معكم في الدنيا، نؤدي شعائر الدين مثلكم؟ قال المؤمنون لهم: بلى قد كنتم معنا في الظاهر، ولكنكم أهلكتم أنفسكم بالنفاق والمعاصي، وتربصتم بالنبي الموت وبالمؤمنين الدوائر، وشككتم في البعث بعد الموت، وخدعتكم أمانيكم الباطلة، وبقيتم على ذلك حتى جاءكم الموت وخدعكم بالله الشيطان
