سورة الجاثية، الآية ١٧Surah Al-Jathiyah, ayah 17 (45:17)
وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم بَيِّنَٰتٍ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِ فَمَا ٱخۡتَلَفُوٓاْ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡعِلۡمُ بَغۡيًۢا بَيۡنَهُمۡ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقۡضِى بَيۡنَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَ ١٧
The meaning in English
And gave them clear proofs in matters [by revealing to them the Taurât (Torah)]. And they differed not until after the knowledge came to them, through envy among themselves. Verily, Your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein they used to differ.

وآتينا بني إسرائيل شرائع واضحات في الحلال والحرام، ودلالات تبين الحق من الباطل، فما اختلفوا إلا من بعد ما جاءهم العلم، وقامت الحجة عليهم، وإنما حَمَلهم على ذلك بَغْيُ بعضهم على بعض؛ طلبًا للرفعة والرئاسة، إن ربك -أيها الرسول- يحكم بين المختلفين من بني إسرائيل يوم القيامة فيما كانوا فيه يختلفون في الدنيا. وفي هذا تحذير لهذه الأمة أن تسلك مسلكهم
