سورة غافر، الآية ١١Surah Ghafir, ayah 11 (40:11)
قَالُواْ رَبَّنَآ أَمَتَّنَا ٱثۡنَتَيۡنِ وَأَحۡيَيۡتَنَا ٱثۡنَتَيۡنِ فَٱعۡتَرَفۡنَا بِذُنُوبِنَا فَهَلۡ إِلَىٰ خُرُوجٍ مِّن سَبِيلٍ ١١
The meaning in English
They will say: "Our Lord! You have made us to die twice (i.e. we were dead in the loins of our fathers and dead after our life in this world), and You have given us life twice (i.e. life when we were born and life when we are Resurrected)! Now we confess our sins, then is there any way to get out (of the Fire)?" (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi,)

قال الكافرون: ربنا أمتَّنا مرتين: حين كنا في بطون أمهاتنا نُطَفًا قبل نفخ الروح، وحين انقضى أجلُنا في الحياة الدنيا، وأحييتنا مرتين: في دار الدنيا، يوم وُلِدْنا، ويوم بُعِثنا من قبورنا، فنحن الآن نُقِرُّ بأخطائنا السابقة، فهل لنا من طريق نخرج به من النار، وتعيدنا به إلى الدنيا؛ لنعمل بطاعتك؟ ولكن هيهات أن ينفعهم هذا الاعتراف
