سورة ص، الآية ٢٦Surah Sad, ayah 26 (38:26)
يَٰدَاوُۥدُ إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰكَ خَلِيفَةً فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌۢ بِمَا نَسُواْ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡحِسَابِ ٢٦
The meaning in English
O Dâwûd (David)! Verily! We have placed you as a successor on the earth; so judge you between men in truth (and justice) and follow not your desire - for it will mislead you from the Path of Allâh. Verily, those who wander astray from the Path of Allâh (shall) have a severe torment, because they forgot the Day of Reckoning.

التفسير الميسر
يا داود إنا استخلفناك في الأرض وملَّكناك فيها، فاحكم بين الناس بالعدل والإنصاف، ولا تتبع الهوى في الأحكام، فيُضلك ذلك عن دين الله وشرعه، إن الذين يَضِلُّون عن سبيل الله لهم عذاب أليم في النار؛ بغفلتهم عن يوم الجزاء والحساب. وفي هذا توصية لولاة الأمر أن يحكموا بالحق المنزل من الله، تبارك وتعالى، ولا يعدلوا عنه، فيضلوا عن سبيله
