سورة فاطر، الآية ٤٤Surah Fatir, ayah 44 (35:44)
أَوَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَكَانُوٓاْ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةً وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعۡجِزَهُۥ مِن شَىۡءٍ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَلِيمًا قَدِيرًا ٤٤
The meaning in English
Have they not travelled in the land, and seen what was the end of those before them - though they were superior to them in power? Allâh is not such that anything in the heavens or in the earth escapes Him. Verily, He is All-Knowing, All-Omnipotent.

التفسير الميسر
أولم يَسِرْ كفار "مكة" في الأرض، فينظروا كيف كان عاقبة الذين من قبلهم كعاد وثمود وأمثالهم، وما حلَّ بهم من الدمار، وبديارهم من الخراب، حين كذبوا الرسل، وكان أولئك الكفرة أشد قوة وبطشًا من كفار "مكة"؟ وما كان الله تعالى ليعجزه ويفوته من شيء في السماوات ولا في الأرض، إنه كان عليمًا بأفعالهم، قديرًا على إهلاكهم
