سورة سبإ، الآية ٤٥Surah Saba, ayah 45 (34:45)
وَكَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَمَا بَلَغُواْ مِعۡشَارَ مَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ فَكَذَّبُواْ رُسُلِى فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ ٤٥
The meaning in English
And those before them belied; these have not received even a tenth of what We had granted to those (of old); yet they belied My Messengers. Then how (terrible) was My denial (punishment)!

التفسير الميسر
وكذَّب الذين من قبلهم كعاد وثمود رسلنا، وما بلغ أهل "مكة" عُشرَ ما آتينا الأمم السابقة من القوة، وكثرة المال، وطول العمر وغير ذلك من النعم، فكذبوا رسلي فيما جاؤوهم به فأهلكناهم، فانظر -أيها الرسول- كيف كان إنكاري عليهم وعقوبتي إياهم؟
