سورة النمل، الآية ٤٦Surah An-Naml, ayah 46 (27:46)
قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ لِمَ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبۡلَ ٱلۡحَسَنَةِ لَوۡلَا تَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ ٤٦
The meaning in English
He said: "O my people! Why do you seek to hasten the evil (torment) before the good (Allâh’s Mercy)? Why seek you not the Forgiveness of Allâh, that you may receive mercy?"

قال صالح للفريق الكافر: لِمَ تبادرون الكفر وعمل السيئات الذي يجلب لكم العذاب، وتؤخرون الإيمان وفِعْل الحسنات الذي يجلب لكم الثواب؟ هلا تطلبون المغفرة من الله ابتداء، وتتوبون إليه؛ رجاء أن ترحموا
