سورة الأنبياء، الآية ٧٨Surah Al-Anbya, ayah 78 (21:78)
وَدَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيۡمَٰنَ إِذۡ يَحۡكُمَانِ فِى ٱلۡحَرۡثِ إِذۡ نَفَشَتۡ فِيهِ غَنَمُ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ وَكُنَّا لِحُكۡمِهِمۡ شَٰهِدِينَ ٧٨
The meaning in English
And (remember) Dâwûd (David) and Sulaimân (Solomon), when they gave judgement in the case of the field in which the sheep of certain people had pastured at night; and We were witness to their judgement.

واذكر - أيها الرسول - نبي الله داود وابنه سليمان، إذ يحكمان في قضية عرَضَها خصمان، عَدَت غنم أحدهما على زرع الآخر، وانتشرت فيه ليلا فأتلفت الزرع، فحكم داود بأن تكون الغنم لصاحب الزرع ملْكًا بما أتلفته، فقيمتهما سواء، وكنَّا لحكمهم شاهدين لم يَغِبْ عنا
