مَآ ءَامَنَتۡ قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَآ أَفَهُمۡ يُؤۡمِنُونَ ٦
The meaning in English
Not one of the towns (populations), of those which We destroyed, believed before them (though We sent them signs): will they then believe?

ما آمنت قبل كفار "مكة" من قرية طلب أهلها المعجزات مِن رسولهم وتحققت، بل كذَّبوا، فأهلكناهم، أفيؤمن كفار"مكة" إذا تحققت المعجزات التي طلبوها؟ كلا إنهم لا يؤمنون
