سورة البقرة، الآية ٩Surah Al-Baqarah, ayah 9 (2:9)
يُخَٰدِعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَمَا يَخۡدَعُونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَمَا يَشۡعُرُونَ ٩
The meaning in English
They (think to) deceive Allâh and those who believe, while they only deceive themselves, and perceive (it) not!

التفسير الميسر
يعتقدون بجهلهم أنهم يخادعون الله والذين آمنوا بإظهارهم الإيمان وإضمارهم الكفر، وما يخدعون إلا أنفسهم؛ لأن عاقبة خداعهم تعود عليهم. ومِن فرط جهلهم لا يُحِسُّون بذلك؛ لفساد قلوبهم
