سورة الكهف، الآية ٥٩Surah Al-Kahf, ayah 59 (18:59)
وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡ لَمَّا ظَلَمُواْ وَجَعَلۡنَا لِمَهۡلِكِهِم مَّوۡعِدًا ٥٩
The meaning in English
And these towns (population, - ‘Âd, Thamûd) We destroyed them when they did wrong. And We appointed a fixed time for their destruction.

وتلك القرى القريبة منكم -كقرى قوم هود وصالح ولوط وشعيب- أهلكناها حين ظلم أهلها بالكفر، وجعلنا لهلاكهم ميقاتًا وأجلا حين بلغوه جاءهم العذاب فأهلكهم الله به
