سورة الإسراء، الآية ٩٨Surah Al-Isra, ayah 98 (17:98)
ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآؤُهُم بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَقَالُوٓاْ أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمًا وَرُفَٰتًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ خَلۡقًا جَدِيدًا ٩٨
The meaning in English
That is their recompense, because they denied Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and said: "When we are bones and fragments, shall we really be raised up as a new creation?"

التفسير الميسر
هذا الذي وُصِف من العذاب عقاب للمشركين؛ بسبب كفرهم بآيات الله وحججه، وتكذيبهم رسله الذين دَعَوْهم إلى عبادته، وقولهم استنكارًا - إذا أُمروا بالتصديق بالبعث -: أإذا متنا وصِرْنا عظامًا بالية وأجزاءً متفتتة نُبعث بعد ذلك خَلْقًا جديدًا؟
