سورة يونس، الآية ٩٨Surah Yunus, ayah 98 (10:98)
فَلَوۡلَا كَانَتۡ قَرۡيَةٌ ءَامَنَتۡ فَنَفَعَهَآ إِيمَٰنُهَآ إِلَّا قَوۡمَ يُونُسَ لَمَّآ ءَامَنُواْ كَشَفۡنَا عَنۡهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡخِزۡىِ فِى ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَمَتَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ ٩٨
The meaning in English
Was there any town (community) that believed (after seeing the punishment), and its Faith (at that moment) saved it (from the punishment)? (The answer is none) - except the people of Yûnus (Jonah); when they believed, We removed from them the torment of disgrace in the life of the (present) world, and permitted them to enjoy for a while.

التفسير الميسر
لم ينفع الإيمان أهل قرية آمنوا عند معاينة العذاب إلا أهل قرية يونس بن مَتَّى، فإنهم لـمَّا أيقنوا أن العذاب نازل بهم تابوا إلى الله تعالى توبة نصوحا، فلمَّا تبيَّن منهم الصدق في توبتهم كشف الله عنهم عذاب الخزي بعد أن اقترب منهم، وتركهم في الدنيا يستمتعون إلى وقت إنهاء آجالهم
