سورة ص، الآية ١٧Surah Sad, ayah 17 (38:17)
ٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذۡكُرۡ عَبۡدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلۡأَيۡدِ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ ١٧
The meaning in English
Be patient (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) of what they say, and remember Our slave Dâwûd (David), endued with power. Verily, he was ever oft-returning in all matters and in repentance (toward Allâh).

اصبر -أيها الرسول- على ما يقولونه مما تكره، واذكر عبدنا داود صاحب القوة على أعداء الله والصبر على طاعته، إنه توَّاب كثير الرجوع إلى ما يرضي الله. (وفي هذا تسلية للرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم)
