سورة الفرقان، الآية ٥٥Surah Al-Furqan, ayah 55 (25:55)
وَيَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُهُمۡ وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمۡ وَكَانَ ٱلۡكَافِرُ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ ظَهِيرًا ٥٥
The meaning in English
And they (disbelievers, polytheists) worship besides Allâh that which can neither profit them nor harm them; and the disbeliever is ever a helper (of the Satan) against his Lord.

التفسير الميسر
ومع كل هذه الدلائل على قدرة الله وإنعامه على خلقه يَعبدُ الكفار مِن دون الله ما لا ينفعهم إن عبدوه، ولا يضرهم إن تركوا عبادته، وكان الكافر عونًا للشيطان على ربه بالشرك في عبادة الله، مُظَاهِرًا له على معصيته
