سورة الفرقان، الآية ٥٠Surah Al-Furqan, ayah 50 (25:50)
وَلَقَدۡ صَرَّفۡنَٰهُ بَيۡنَهُمۡ لِيَذَّكَّرُواْ فَأَبَىٰٓ أَكۡثَرُ ٱلنَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًا ٥٠
The meaning in English
And indeed We have distributed it (rain or water) amongst them in order that they may remember (the Grace of Allâh,) but most men (refuse to accept the Truth or Faith and) accept nothing but disbelief or ingratitude.

ولقد أنزلنا المطر على أرض دون أخرى؛ ليذكر الذين أنزلنا عليهم المطر نعمة الله عليهم، فيشكروا له، وليذكر الذين مُنعوا منه، فيسارعوا بالتوبة إلى الله - جل وعلا- ليرحمهم ويسقيهم، فأبى أكثر الناس إلا جحودًا لنعمنا عليهم، كقولهم: مطرنا بنَوْء كذا وكذا
