سورة الأنبياء، الآية ٧٤Surah Al-Anbya, ayah 74 (21:74)
وَلُوطًا ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ حُكۡمًا وَعِلۡمًا وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ ٱلَّتِى كَانَت تَّعۡمَلُ ٱلۡخَبَٰٓئِثَ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمَ سَوۡءٍ فَٰسِقِينَ ٧٤
The meaning in English
And (remember) Lût (Lot), We gave him Hukm (right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) and (religious) knowledge, and We saved him from the town (folk) who practised Al-Khabâ’ith (evil, wicked and filthy deeds). Verily, they were a people given to evil, and were Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).

التفسير الميسر
وآتينا لوطًا النبوة وفصل القضاء بين الخصوم وعلمًا بأمر الله ودينه، ونجيناه من قريته "سدوم" التي كان يعمل أهلها الخبائث. إنهم كانوا بسبب الخبائث والمنكرات التي يأتونها أهل سوء وقُبْح، خارجين عن طاعة الله
