سورة النحل، الآية ١٢٤Surah An-Nahl, ayah 124 (16:124)
إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ ٱلسَّبۡتُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَحۡكُمُ بَيۡنَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَ ١٢٤
The meaning in English
The Sabbath was only prescribed for those who differed concerning it, and verily, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein they used to differ.

التفسير الميسر
إنما جعل الله تعظيم يوم السبت بالتفرغ للعبادة فيه على اليهود الذين اختلفوا فيه على نبيهم، واختاروه بدل يوم الجمعة الذي أُمِروا بتعظيمه. فإن ربك -أيها الرسول- لَيحكم بين المختلفين يوم القيامة فيما اختلفوا فيه على نبيهم، ويجازي كلا بما يستحقه
