سورة الأعراف، الآية ٧٧Surah Al-A'raf, ayah 77 (7:77)
فَعَقَرُواْ ٱلنَّاقَةَ وَعَتَوۡاْ عَنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَقَالُواْ يَٰصَٰلِحُ ٱئۡتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ ٧٧
The meaning in English
So they killed the she-camel and insolently defied the Commandment of their Lord, and said: "O Sâlih! Bring about your threats if you are indeed one of the Messengers (of Allâh)."

فنحروا الناقة استخفافا منهم بوعيد صالح، واستكبروا عن امتثال أمر ربهم، وقالوا على سبيل الاستهزاء واستبعاد العذاب: يا صالح ائتنا بما تتوعَّدنا به من العذاب، إن كنت مِن رسل الله
